As a result they are beholding to those nations in their decision making process. Both entities cannot make loans if they have no money. So they bow to pressure from the U.S. and other financial contributors to bypass rules for granting and approving loans. Sri Lanka and Pakistan are just two examples. Money that should be used for the betterment of the people of those nations is used instead to prosecute wars and sponsor state terrorism.
