The American People, the good, generous, compassionate american people must stop spending money they don't have. All of these problems stem from the fact that we as a nation, and as a culture do not know how to stop spending. We cannot stop shopping. Many people want what they cannot have; many people want the rich lifestyle, and who can blame them. But you have to be able to fund it with real money, not leverage, and not credit cards that never get paid off. The system is not on your side. The Government is not on your side. Do you really think that a bank that stole your house is going to work with you on re negotiating your loan? Young people especially need to realize what they are up against. The corporate oligarchy is going to pay you as little as possible for as long as possible. It is a rigged game, and most people are on the losing end. You don't have to be, but you have to realize that just because you have spent your life doing the right thing the broader marketplace is not going to pay you for that. In fact, in the modern world, that is seen as quaint. Like covered wagons.

You not only have to build a better moustrap, you have to persuade the rest of the world that they can't live without it.

Perhaps the first million to have their credit-cards withdrawn are the lucky ones? (Although it may not feel like it at the time.)
