The mindless pursuit of profit eventually bites the profit seeker in the hand. Also, the tendency for employers to summarily reject workers who are not currently employed should be outlawed for the sake of the misfortunate as well as everyone else. The most optimistic result for society is to have to bear the cost of disposing of the dead that litter the landscape. A burden on society that should be imposed on the corporate community who refused to think independently and simply threw the older worker and or long term unemployed under the bus. Without giving a thought to the fact that that person earned a right to be productive.

We now have free trade–Instead of fair trade!
This makes it “Profitable” for corporations to outsource the better paying jobs to second or third world countries!
Your right on the money–To think that the government Needs to directly put folks to work so as the money can circulate, howeverwe allso need to encourage/force companies that want to do bus. here to provide for workers OR pay extra taxes on imported products!
Cuckhold Don
