That’s the focus of the Kony video. All your points are well taken, Don. But I think one of the larger issues is how the video has changed communication patterns. The attention and subsequent actions generated by the video can be a model for future campaigns, both political and business. There are lessons in its packaging, distribution and social impact that marketers and social activists can learn from. Loraine Antrim

Running naked through the streets of San Diego. Look it up on Youtube.
The Kony video is nothing more than propaganda for the Facebook generation. How many of them have heard of the LRA before being spoon fed this pack of distortions and half-truths? How many of them can name ten countries in Africa and locate them on a map?
This is the beginning of something far worse than wars being planned by the elites and the military. Its is the start of something much more dangerous: Celebrity created crises.

Charity organizations that do little but enrich their board of directors. Monetary funds that do little but further enrich the already rich, and make more poor those that are poor already. Wars are fought for political and economical advantage NOT for human rights or humane living conditions. The entire planet needs an enema. There is no hope at all for the future with the men and women in power today. All of them, each and every one of them, are not worth the crap that stained the shoes of the men that came before them. For the world to progress we need to undo the ‘work’ of the last two entire generations of half-men in power.

But regardless of whether we talk about the old supra national institutions or new ones, it is very important that we understand first of all that no solution and no positive impact can arise when we act from our own subjective point of you, instinctively reacting to some superficial information we gather, or starting from the standpoint of the western mentality that everything we do is fine and this is what we have to export to other regions.
Today we all live in the same global, and totally interdependent network, we all move together either in the a positive or in a negative direction.
In the situation we find ourselves we cannot afford any more to act on false data, or superficial intelligence.
In an integral system any planning or action can only work if first of all we take all the elements, all the true, transparent information into consideration and only pull the trigger on any action when we are 100% sure that it is beneficial for the whole system.
Thus for any supra-national organization the first priority should be a world wide education program for both adults and children, including every layer of society, explaining in a factual, objective manner how our global, integral world behaves, what natural laws govern it, so when it comes to implementation people could join in willingly, understanding the benefits without any trickery and coercion.
This is our future: an open, transparent and mutual global human society, where each of us can find the place to fulfill his/her capabilities 100% for the benefit of the whole system.
