And do you know why Mr. Massey that the number of illegals is no longer sky rocketing? It’s the economy. So one could say that Obama has helped the illegal immigration problem a lot by destroying the economy. Its a fair statement, it’s just not quite the solution non-Obamaphiles had in mind.

Passage and enforcement of e-Verify is the most humane, cost effective and reasonable way to vastly reduce illegal immigration. Simply put, most of those here illegally who can not get jobs will leave, and once that is understood, far fewer will enter (even when the economy recovers). No need for mass round ups….just enforce e-Verify. Unfortunately, Senators Durbin and Schumer (and Obama) oppose this simple plan and instead push for a mass amnesty under the DREAM Act. This plan, simply put, allows almost anyone here illegally to remain for virtually any reason, and to sponsor their relatives too. Their goal is to win hispanic voters while throwing American citizens under the bus. It’s criminal.

The steady drip of amnesty plans from Senators Durbin, Schumer, Reid, Obama and others are the motive for many here illegally to stay. The humane and reasonable thing to do is to prioritize those here longer than ten years (with sound documented proof and no records of arrest) on our existing guest worker programs. All else must return home. No citizenship, simply the chance to stay legally and work (as needed). The law allowing children born of undocumented immigrants is an abuse and must end now.

If that estimate is as accurate the ones in the 80′s, we only actually have 40 or 50 million illegal aliens in this country.

When statics show that over 60% of so called Hispanics are not graduating from High School, this would indicate that we already will have another generation of gardeners, house keepers, crop pickers and fast food workers to meet our needs for the next 40 years.
