With dozens dead, a generation of patriotic and brilliant future leaders was lost.”

If we change “dozens dead” with “hundred of thousands dead”, it’s not Iran, it’s USA in Irak, Afghanistan, Pakistan…

What improved?

Makes no sense.

What was the achievement? To a multitude of Iranian exiles, first and foremost, it was the bestowing of an elemental human gift – safety.

Did they close irans embassies so iran could not do the murders anymore? How is this benefiting anyone.

The author makes clear the subjective commitment to justice is far more effective in generating positive social and political relations than all the bellicose threats of war.

The only hard facts given are that a trial occurred in 1997 for murders in 1992, Otto Schily was Germany’s Interior Minister, and that in 1979 Iran seized an American embassy. There are no other hard facts or even a coherent message. So what happened after the trial? Did Iran change at all? WHAT CHANGED?! I need to make money writing in circles with no facts or direction that kinda-sorta-maybe tie into popular stories from the day before.

Sounds like a disgruntled Iranian out to cast all of the problems of the world on Iran.

Bomb Iran, and everything will get solved!
