Similar to Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton, Obama is making a living off the plight of the black man. Keeping our country divided is paramount to their success. None of these racists truly care. MLK had a dream for blacks not to be judged by the color of their skin, but the content of their character. These men could give a rats about the character of any of us, so long as it doesn't affect the bottom line.

Never mind Obama what about democrats? Democrats have blacks trained to line up for meager hand outs in exchange for a vote. Obama is not a magic lamp dispensing free stuff he should be an inspiration/example that blacks can attain any goal. The government is not an ATM machine, that is the message he should be espousing if he want to help blacks. Put down the basketball pick up a book. Stop memorizing rap songs memorize multiplication tables instead. Stop telling blacks they can’t succeed because “the man” is keeping them down. It has been almost 50 years since civil acts rights of 64’ and how have the democrats improved conditions for blacks, lower out of wedlock births?, lower drug use?, lower black on black crime?, more 2 parent families?, less dependence on government handouts?, higher HS and college graduation rates?. I know, I know, it’s the GOP that’s been thwarting everything (and the CIA). Maybe just maybe after 50 years it’s time to investigate if the current path is the problem.
The Democrats most effective campaign has been the one to convince black voters to vote for them regardless of results.

Excellent analysis Ari. I read the NYT Sunday article and knew it would cause a stink. These guys are black radicals and although I also have had many disagreements on Obama's policies of not being liberal enough for me, when it comes to the race issue, these guys are just causing more problems than helping. You put the matter in the right framework. Thanks.
