I find it funny you blame the Republican party for this mess when they've been the minority for the last 40 years. It shows just how little you really know and are simply blinded by blue.

Everyone will agree that the government is reckless with money. That being established why do you think more money will solve the problem?

You as a voter had a chance to change this state in the special elections held by Gov. Arnold... guess what.. you drank the "For the Kids" Kool-Aid and he never fought a popular vote again. Guess who passes legislation regardless of what voters say? The democrat majority legislature.

Look at the funding for the two parties and look where they come from... Repubs = Individuals and organizations big and small trying to give you a job. Dems = Unions, Unions, and Unions making sure you pay for their jobs.

Spending on Education Goes Up!! and Test Scores Once Again Go Down Down Down...

Grover Norquist again... How did he get this much influence? What if we take his "no tax" crusade to its logical conclusions (gradually abolishing taxes, and never replacing or increasing them)? Where will this continued one-way recalibration lead us to? There will be two options:

• Turn the USA into Egypt or Myanmar (where government aka military controls so many monopoly businesses that taxation is not actually necessary), or

• Abolish government altogether (with no government services, America becomes an anarchy).

Which of these options would Norquist prefer?
