McConnell says that closing tax loop holes is a tax increase!

How does Mitt Romney get away with laundering billions of unreported income through a bank in the Caymans owned by his Church?

Seriously McConnell, quit pretending like the GOP was ever interested in fiscal responsibility. You guys have been and always will be about controlling the population for the benefit of industry. That's why you have the no freedom policy of policing the american mind and bedroom. You know someone with a moral compass could not say the baldfaced lies that you spew out.

It's too simple level fund everything. It's not as drastic as most Americans have had to do, but why should smaller increases be call cuts??

Senator McConnell, please write an editorial with some factual history which must include some shared blame with the Federal fiscal mess.

You pushed through 2 unfunded wars a decade ago while passing tax cuts to the upper 1%. You have refused to make corporate America, private equity, mining, oil services and the rest of Washington's entrenched lobbies pay an equivalent tax rate that most of your constituents pay. when a coal miner in Kentucky pays probably 30% of his income in taxes (federal, social security, sales, etc.) you rationalize tax legislation that permits the likes of Apple, GE and Exxon (to name a few) to pay an effective Federal income tax rate under 5%.

This country will be paying for decades the actions of your leadership when in the first time in US history we fought two wars and passed tax cuts. IS that responsible fiscal leadership? Far from it.

I think the mandatory cuts agreed to last year, esp. the $50 billion cut in Defense spending is an initial right step. Defense spending in the USA is larger than the next top 10 countries COMBINED. And we all know the real reason for this bloated Defense is that that these industries underwrite your campaign.

Stop blaming Obama (though he deserves some blame), and start leading your party out of the control of lobbies and special interests that are ruining our democracy and economy.

No, Americans did not elect a divided government by choice. Democrats in the House races got over 1,000,000 more votes than Republicans, but due to Republican gerrymandering, Republicans hold the house. A majority of people voted for complete democratic government. So shut up, senator! Because everything it pours out of your mouth, is a lie.
