By using N. Korea, the Chinese do not need to waste excessive resources on defense and be drawn into another cold war. That would be a dream come true for the complex. Instead, N. Korea is the Military threat and it's cheap to operate, conveniently located and seems to be working wonderfully. I think we should just ignore it. But we won't. We will spend gazillions of dollars we don't have to build more weapons that we don't need to prevail against a threat that isn't real. While China and India take over the global economy from us.
