Holder and Obama asked federal court to stop 34 school districts in Louisiana from handing out private-school vouchers.

Louisiana’s 2012 state-wide voucher program guarantees a voucher to students from families with incomes below 250% of poverty and who attend schools graded C or below.

The point is to let kids escape the segregation of failed schools, and about 90% of the beneficiaries are black.

Lesson learned. ACTIONS speak louder the empty promises.

Louisiana’s Governor, Bobby Jindal had this to say:

“The Obama administration thinks parents should have to seek their approval any time parents want to send their child to a school of their choice,” Jindal said in a news release. “After generations of being denied a choice, parents finally can choose a school for their child, but now the federal government is stepping in to prevent parents from exercising this right. Shame on them. Parents should have the ability to decide where to send their child to school.”

The four horsemen of the Apocalypse were death, conquest, war and famine. The four horsemen these days are racism, sexism, homophobia and anti-Semitism. These verbal terms of abuse are phantasms until defined and placed into historical context. A moral and physical reality lies behind language.

This means you must comply with police officer’s commands and obey posted speed limits. Rodney King forgot this. Your right to free speech assumes duty to use English properly. Duties are as important as rights.
Human rights are natural rights. They mean nothing without civil law. Civil law assumes civility.
