There are few places – this being one of them – where one can find the empirical and logical reasons for international criminal accountability in on-going conflicts robustly and convincingly stated. As for the instrumentalization of the ICC, I would say that the alleged ends of such use is critical to the analysis though. No one is particularly upset that the ICC may be misused in and of itself, but rather the reason why it is misused. As I discuss in this Huffington Post piece, there is a way in which ICC “instrumentalization” so to speak is a positive that does not undermine the Court. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/kip-hale/m r-president-here-is-a-vi_b_3845565.html

that make me wonder about justice system used in america.
you punish people bases on believe without proving evident, right?

why would Assad let UN inspector enter the country, then attack his own people with the chemical weapon in a town which very close to where the UN inspector were in. then he let more UN inspector enter his country to inspect the site, and he know America will use his chemical attack as a reason to enter the war and that would be the end for him. it make no-sense what so ever.

Like the Little Boy who cried wolf the US Government, MY GOVERNMENT has become unrustworthy, Benghazi, the result of a FILM that upset the Muslims. Fast & Furious, designed to dissarm America, with OBAMA silence over the ongoing Christian Murders and church burnings!
Most recently the beheading of the priest by the Attackers of the Syrian government. This took place to the cheers of ‘The Peace Loving Muslims’ and as usual. OBAMA says NOTHING until a few Muslims get gassed. This white, Christian veteran sees Obama as the president of Blacks and Muslims and worse!

Syria is a war without the pretence of chivalry and is following Ottoman precedent. The displaced victims murder other displaced victims. The insurgents and original protesters sought to destroy the pluralist state, that is what 51 versus 49 or democracy means in Syria. Before it ends, it could yet be a perfect echo of the Armenian genocide.
