These are rules of war.

Believe me, reading that god has left him in a fraction of a breath since investors are interested to protect their investments but only until the certain point when protection turns into madness.

But what is journalism ? Much must be omitted. One can read “Capital in the Twenty-First Century” for background as to the threats to western social democracy and the EU from right and left. Recent history in US/Russia rivalry, from the actions in Libya and the Russians thwarting the half baked plans of the Friends of Syria. Or the larger history of German and Russian hegemonies in Europe, Ukrainian support for the Nazis, the legacy of (ironically German) Catherine, etc.
But situations and History are also created at the personal (auto)biography, private dinner agreements level, eg Klitschko swapping to align himself with Maidan demonstrators straight after a different agreement with French/German peacemakers, etc.
“History is written by the victors”

They read like propaganda and the posters usually have ridiculously generic names. Reuters should get rid of this comment section to and let the government employees spew their crazy somewhere else.

Clearly this “journalist” hasn’t got a clue as to the history of the current conflict in the Ukraine, or the role of U.S. neocons in precipitating the conflict. When he writes “Continued Russian aggression” he is exposing his failure to grasp the overall situation. If anyone wonders why the American public has tolerated more than a decade of war in the Middle East and elsewhere, look no further than the morons who parade as journalists and purport to report the truth.
