They are a reaction to the Kremlin and Putin’s repeated and regular conflation of the USSR with “Russia”. Putin went so far as to say that Russia could have won against Nazi Germany without the Ukrainians. The Kremlin regularly denigrates or denies the contribution of non-Russians in WW2, despite the fact that proportionally speaking, both Ukraine and Byelorussia suffered more deaths than did the Russian SSR.

What is “Putin’s skewed view of World War 2″ referred to in the article’s title. The only skewed views described are those of Yatsenyuk and Schetyna.

Gee, Ya think?

Its’ pretty clear now, Putin is like the cocaine-snorting uncle trying to host a girls’ slumber party. Creepiest dude in the neighborhood. And he wonders why no one wants to come to his house.

It starts out by saying Putin has a distorted view of WWII, and does a very bad job of trying to prove this opinion.

Putin is delusional and there is a reason no one came to his crazy person party.

In Russia, the term “fascist” has been stripped of ideology and is synonymous with “anybody we don’t like.”
