Such wisdom is the result of ISIS and misjudged support to Syrian rebels. Those leaders who have supported rebels both at Ukraine and Syria have proved incapable and have no right for their chairs.
All through out crisis at Ukraine and Syria,I have seen only Reuters are unbias and I appreciate that article here is published as an opinion with the views of the writer’s own.Thanks.

Getting our service members killed for absolutely nothing. Wasting hundreds of billions of dollars on some dusty rubble pile that means nothing to any normal person. Pretty much the GOP way.

The overwhelming majority of people who live in what the West calls Syria and Iraq have stated unequivocally that they want to live in a nation state composed exclusively of people just like them. This carnage won’t end until everyone is willing to give up on the existing national boundaries and draw new boundaries for new countries that conform to the stated wishes of everyone who now lives in that region. Yes, Erdy, that includes the Kurds.

It is an internal matter in Syria.
