We are and always will be as close and healthy as we want to be.

It was not until 2010 that the UK finally paid off its debt regarding lease lend. As to the comment by UauS the Russians sorted there own invasion by Germany without any help from the US to the tune of millions of lives.

Breton Woods was a deal created to destroy the pound sterling as reserve currency . In 1956 the UK and France were destroyed as world powers by the U.S in the Suez invasion .Obama cannot disguise his ” dislike ” for the UK . Apparently we treated his grand father badly ! Bair only joined the Iraq lunacy to keep the big power status for the UK . At a huge cost to us !

Furthermor, the numbers presented are statistically invalid.
As to size of standing army, again, invalid data. If the author is discussing standing army, as he states (somewhat ambiguously), then his conclusion would be roundly debunked. The USA, Russia, China, and North Korea all have larger standing armies as of now, and will further dwarf the UK army if they do indeed downsize.
This would place the UK in 5th, as to deployable armies, US aid in terms of military disregarded.
One of the worst opinion/analysis pieces I have read in recent memory.

The Rothschild’s communist regimes in London and Washington will send troops? Or will exterminate the Scots by drones?
Have you any idea that the normal people don’t make any difference between Bush, Blair, Putin etc. And at the head of the State Department is the maoist, but the general secretary of NATO is a hereditary Norwegian communist and a KGB agent with a pseudonym Steklov.
Pray to the moslems to keep you alive much longer. You already departed. And there is nothing else you – ardent Marxist in the USSA and red Britain of the ‘working people’, who only 40 years ago slept 8-10 people in one bed – deserve.
