The Republican party has no radical agenda. The radical agenda is the liberals in the Democrat party. Smaller government, lower taxes, and greater freedoms are never radical.

In April, Tennessee authorized guns in parks, which overrode local bans and drew sharp criticism from the Nashville mayor. April was also the month when the NRA held its annual meeting in Nashville.

BUT The NRA bans guns at its annual meeting and conventions. Go figure

Illinois WISHES they had the debt of the states you describe. Democrats, through their crony deals with state union workers, have put the state on the edge of bankruptcy. They have controlled the state for DECADES (with minor Republican involvement at times). They RAISED taxes by 67% and still managed to GROW the deficit AND debt. Their lies of raising taxes to pay down the debt were just that – LIES. In addition, their actions have actually driven taxpayers away as shown by recent IRS data. Not only is IL loosing people to surrounding states, they are loosing taxpayers more so. They people coming to the state do not contribute as much as those that leave, instead using more of the state services.

THAT is what Democratic control does to a state.

French style revolution may be the only way to resolve this.

In this case, however, Reuters has thrown caution to the winds with a full-on left wing tirade posing as a news article. I only read this site for international breaking news, recognizing that its left wing slant is a given. It’s interesting that Reuters apparently doesn’t bother to disguise its bias any more. It’s “coming out” as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Democratic Party.

It is not a serious discussion.
