There are LOTS of undernourished mothers carrying babies in the developing world. And those babies do not grow up to be fat? Why? Because they don’t eat enough calories to get fat. They don’t have the food. Basic caloric is the only driver that ends up mattering. Burn rate only fluctuates a tiny bit.
