Reagan – The Father of the out of control, run-away, national debt.
D. Chump – Dangerously ignorant.

He was an actor and he spent his entire career including his terms as governor as a figurehead who read lines given to him by his handlers. He was recruited much like Bush II by a group of wealthy California businessmen and he followed their instructions his entire career. His policies wrecked the country and those policies are still doing harm today. He gave us trickle down economics, reduced government control, reduced taxes on the wealthy, a destroyed the safety net, and pushed millions of already poor people into abject poverty and homelessness. Great job Ronnie! He also empowered the worst elements of American society: Southern racists and the radical evangelical movement that led to bombings and murders. Hey, what a great legacy? Did the author ever actually READ any history in getting that set of degrees?

Sold illicit arms to Iran, provided Al Qaeda with cash and weapons. Increased the deficit by 100%, and accomplished nothing.

Anyone who thinks Reagan was a good President has been listening to AM radio tractor-call-in-shows, far too long.

I can only imagine if he is the nominee that a Democrat in the White House will be assured.

The difference between him a Trump are only minor. Reagan was a bit more childish himself and he did have to speak to the people a little more childishly, but they are both fascists. Indeed, Reagan was the beginning of the overt fascist agenda to destroy the family and make everyone children who see the state as their parents. In that sense he was way worse than Trump. Trump is an open unrepentant fascist and likely has jumped in where he was not intended to go and ahead of where the GOP really wanted the fascist conversion process to be at this point
