Our immigration laws are fine, our leaders are unwilling to enforce any of them.

In advanced civil societies laws protect the civil from the uncivil. That usually translates to protecting the productive from the unproductive, citizen or not.

Any society that evolves into one where more is taken than contributed is failing. It’s just a matter of time before the fall.
