The root cause seems to be that central banks and the governments control money supply and cannot be relied up to act in the public interest. The real solution is to severely limit their ability to meddle in interest rates, currencies, fractional lending, bank bailouts, and other such methods of money printing. Secondly, to severely limit what risks banks can take on. I hear you say – but theses are the very things on which we depend to stimulate our economy. I say, what alcohol is to an alcoholic these economic stimulants are to the greater good.
