So the same congress said sixty years ago when they isolated the nation from the rest of the world. We were put to enormous hardships over fifty years and the west knows it all at huge loss to the people. At the end of the socialism the same congress did a U turn and reversed all those without even a small apology to the people .Besides MMS is not an elected member of the parliament and he does not come through elections .He does not have a single vote .His refusal to contest an election means he cares nothing for the citizens right to elect their PM. So whetre is the spirit you are talking ?

It’s true that politicians ned to rise above populism to some extent as one can’t afford to totally overlook public sentiments. However unfortunately it is merely being used as slogan as and when required.Mechanism of Petroleum Pricing is impossible to understand for common men. Neither the Government nor media tried to explain honestly the gap between cost and price to consumer. Bitter truth has been that Rich is getting richer by lips and bound and sufferings of the middle class increasing day in and day out.
