In United States no one is above law, unlike in India, where one can get away with any crime if that person is well connected.
We can just pray to God that Krittika get a reduced sentence from court.

“Will New Delhi move to escalate the row, or will Krittika’s ordeal be delicately swept under the rug?”

We all know the answer. But lets hope the US court serves some justice.

However, what will give her justice is the US court of law. The wisest step was to take the matter out of government interference/benevolence and put the ball in the courst. She will get justice if her case is valid.
