It can very well limit capacity creation which again will prove very much inflationary in medium to long run. I can force industry to defer capacity creation till prices reach a higher lever which start justifying additional capacity at RBI induced high rate of interest. But how can it RBI cause demand restrain particularly when Government is deliberately with explanation in budget to fill the gap caused by rising prices ; fuels wage inflation. These action in contradiction effectively cause worst kind of inflation a nation can cause to itself. History is proof. and present happenings are live argument. RBI can sabotage industrial growth.
