I live in Long Beach, NY. I have to drive a bit, but there’s definitly sand here. The drug/doper mentality makes me wonder if I bagged up some sand from the beach, labeled it “Not for Human Consumption”, tied it up with a pretty ribbon and gave it a catchy name like Smoothie for Roughie, I could sell it for $5.00 a pop. I like to use the sand as an exfoliant on my feet. No telling what the dopers would use it for . . . !

By: M.C.McBride Sat, 02 Jun 2012 17:12:53 +0000 I blame the DEA and the Department of Justice. They, with their prohibition approach to any drug that is sensationalized in the media, have pushed drug addicts into more dangerous drugs. Clearly, the FEDS are the greatest danger to Americans.

I hear the kids like to huff gasoline and drink ethanol. Time to ban that too, braniacs.

By: paintcan Sat, 02 Jun 2012 01:08:39 +0000 I just spent the last few minutes looking at some available footage of the alleged attack and I don’t believe anything happened.

What I saw were two male bodies that could easily have been naked sunbathers or perhaps homeless men or just two guys feeling very relaxed and taking the breezes. Only their legs are visible and their torsos and faces were obscured by the overpass. You see a cop approach them but without gun drawn. They could have been reported for indecent exposure.

The rest of the footage contains talking heads explaining the “victim’s” excellent HS background, the alleged attacker’s mug shot, and one scene of a yellow cloth over a jersey barrier that is “the scene of the crime”. The rest of the footage is lot of random shots of police vehicles and cops milling around that actually could have been taken from the news orgs video files.

The “proof” of the alleged victim’s face is so blurred (again that argument that the public is being spared scenes too grisly to behold?) that it could be a mound of red something or other.

The position of the men’s bodies from the waist down doesn’t look like either of them was chowing down on the other.

Are there any photos or videos that actually reveal one man with so much as his head over the other guy? I don’t have to see “Dawn of the Dead” imagery but the stuff I’ve seen is nonsense.

By: paintcan Sat, 02 Jun 2012 00:03:31 +0000 Stoners are like that: I’ve never met one who was a good press critic.

Alcohol is still the most popular drug of choice. Bush Jr was a known alcoholic and everyone was forgiving of his youthful indiscretions. The state that is my home has the monopoly on its sale.

It isn’t a notorious booster of critical faculties either.

I haven’t tried to find any photos yet, but are there any photos posted of the attack? The most intriguing aspect of the story was why that man/dog’s breakfast was naked too?

By: Adam_S Fri, 01 Jun 2012 16:07:52 +0000 Fact of the matter is that

1. Designer drugs have been around forever. They’re nothing new. There was recently a story about someone ripping another person’s heart out and tearing off his face after consuming some tea laced w psychedelic mushrooms. Designer Drug, 1, all natural drug that’s been consumed for thousands of years, 1. Point is that drugs are bad, mmkay, and if you do enough of many of them, crazy stuff can happen.

2. The real point is that it’s just been a really long time since there’s been a bonafied real live account of cannibalism in the US. Yeah, people are getting a little worked up.

I’d pay much more attention to say, the headless corpses courtesy of Los Zetas on the Mexican border, than I would about some guy taking too much of some newfangled drug and doing something really dumb.
