Did someone say FREE WORLD?! LOL what planet are you from. In a country run by INSANE PEOPLE with their crazy secret societies, i think not. Look at your central bank, says federal but is completely a privately operating institution. Your country has the ability to issue its own currency (interest/debt free) mind you, like the constitution says, yet you rather pay interest on money created mostly out of thin air. JFK tried to do it, he also spoke a lot of good speeches but look what happened. Think about it, maybe you will break out of your brainwashed state of mind thanks to your biased media owned and filtered by the few. Think about it, check it out yourself.

The suggestion to watch with the sound off is an excellent one. Watching actors in movies or on TV allows you to concentrate on facial expressions, movement, posture, without the distraction of the writer's words and the actor's voice. You can't judge the film or the program in its entirety this way, but you can judge the actors. Of course, it might not be the best way to pick the Leader of the Free World.

If you are undecided between Obama and Romney, I can see a reason to watch the debates. But if you know for certain whom you are voting for, or, as in my own case, voting against, why watch? I'm old, I remember a lot of debates, but not one that didn't leave me cringing. And that was long ago, when life was more formal, manners were important, even the appearance of manners was important---all quaint by today's free-for-all atmospherics.

I haven't watched one of these in years, but I may check in on this one just to see if I can figure out Romney's actual positions on anything.

These debates were once upon a time moderated by the League of Women Voters. Today they are run by a corporate entity owned jointly by the Republican and Democractic Parties. I have not watched them for many years.
I make money by "shorting" based on American politics; and the way to do this is to watch the candidates carefully as to whom they pick for official position; or perhaps what they in private to favored donors. It's not hard and I am surprised more journalists do not do it.
