America would be better off without his stimulus. The market would have purged itself of most of these problems by now if the feds would have stayed out of it. We are in much much worse shape now and will be for a good while to come. I think this says more about the corrupt connections between Wall Street, the military industrial complex, and the federal government than any underlying deep American power. The only power we seem to have is our global military. Exactly the type of connections we as free, constitutional people are supposed to oppose.

You cannot steal from the public trust and call it stimulus. It is a shift, at best, but certainly theft. If Obama does nothing it would be better than the phony attempt at something he knows nothing about, not to mention the inept cabinet he has “chosen”. Think of it, if any of us tried to borrow our way out of debt, where would we be? Stop drinkin’ the Obama beer, Matt.

Wishful thinking Matthew — But I’d venture to say, and I am in no way an expert on the matter, that there are more the a few contrasts between the economies of US and Spain — Google: US consumerism –

Unfortunately, we American’s still work 40+ (emphasis on the +) hours per week with two weeks vacation.

Oh, almost forgot. Siesta hour! Gosh, must be nice to take naps from 2-5 everyday. Who knows, maybe that could help the hardest hit US companies get their payrolls under wraps? But that’s enough for now, I’ve got to get back to work…….
