As it is, the economy is still totally f'd up, but if trillions of dollars weren't served up on a plate to bank/insurance we' be looking at someone much, MUCH worse. Swine flu was never anything to amazing... all one had to do was look at the death rates and the were never more than slighty above seasonal norms; peak oil has only been delayed; it's inevitable unless you're happy paying a LOT more at the pump. Just my two cents...
