This decline happened during the health care debate. Independents are boggled that here, in America, the government is going to force you to buy insurance at gunpoint. They aren't buying Obama's promises of a magical government pony that will reduce costs and increase coverage for free while giving everyone exactly the same health care and doctors they've been getting.
