In fact this year (2012) Russia will have natural population growth for the first time since 1992 and is expected to be at around 145-150 million by 2020. 10 years ago many experts were predicting Russia was in a demographic crisis with the population dropping down to 115-120 million by 2020. Guess they look like fools now. I grew up and received my education in the West, I have been working in Russia for over 6 years now and the improvements in infrastructure have been incredible but the reporting in the West on Russia has been embarrassing.</description>
