Unfortunately, most politicians have come to represent the average values of their CEO class rulers, rather than new values of the few far-sighted ones such as in this piece. I would expect the common-place attributes of the most successful capitalists preclude them from good world leadership.

This is now the dilemma of people of the world: their governments are dominated by big money, and big money are the people least able to lead us out of the inequality quandary. I might add that capitalism could be a lot more fun, and productive, if we started over on a more level playing field. But, don’t expect the richies to willingly give up their privileged positions.

Nevertheless, it sounds like the efforts and revelations of Gerrit Zalm, and like-minded autocrats, could provide some hope, and support for necessary change.

Everyone knew there was a housing bubble, but none could stop it. We created the monster and now we cant tame it.
Just like any other bubble, it will pop, not be deflated.
