Lucas van Grinsven is Reuters' European technology correspondent based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. After starting his career in general news and financial reporting, Lucas began covering technology companies and trends in earnest for Dutch national newspaper De Volkskrant in 1996, focusing on consumer electronics and semiconductors and soon writing about the small but vibrant Internet community in Amsterdam.
