Today there is good news and bad news for Apple rumor site ThinkSecret, one of the oldest and most closely watched of its kind.
The good news is that their long-standing legal battle has come to an end — the giant iPod maker has come to a settlement with ThinkSecret, one of many upstart blogs against whom Apple has threatened or taken legal action over its secrets.
The bad news? Buh-Bye ThinkSecret. From its press release…
“As part of the confidential settlement, no sources were revealed and Think Secret will no longer be published.”
Hey, for publisher Nick dePlume it could be wor$e than moving on to focus on his “college studies.”
Readers anxious for juicy Apple gossip can still find nuggets elswhere. (e.g., Apple maybe working on a multi-touch Mac (Engadget))
What’s more, the blog MacRumors is hiring.
