LG showed off a series of new prototype portable devices including the handheld TV on the left that uses its MPH, or mobile portable handheld wireless technology for North America. Devices could ship as early as 2009.
The technology requires broadcasters to buy “relatively inexpensive” add-on equipment to their transmitters and device makers to install a reception chip.
Did we mention it works even if you’re in a vehicle travelling up to 140 miles per hour?
