CES: Philips 3-D TV, geeks get dizzy
My head hurt a bit after staring too long at Philips’s WOWvx 3D TV. But it was pretty cool watching on-screen dice fly off the screen. It was almost as cool as getting one of those postcards for the first time. As it turns out, the technology is similar to those postcards, Bjorn Teuwsen, Philips marketing manager tells us.
Here’s a sample. The effect is not quite the same in real life, but it’s the best I could do with my camera.
