The Fusion Hybrid is beautiful. Can’t say the same for the Prius & Fit.

I think that the ford fusion is a nice car, but I do not see it competing with the prius because of the cost. The prius is far more superior.

Ridiculous. What is the reasoning behind giving a new car to one of the richest men in America when the average worker is lucky to still have a job. Another example of why the American automotive industry is in so much trouble. Irresponsibility and greed starts at the highest levels and is fully condoned by our political leadership and the media.I guess this falls into the ballpark of what might be called a publicity stunt, but given the state of our economy, I fail to see the humor.

The Ford Fusion hybrid is a nice car and its closer to a midsize,than a Prius III, however Im not paying $8000 more for a Fusion — than a Prius III which gets average 50mpg! Thats just way too much sorry.I will purchase a hyrbrid from Ford when they start selling a HONDA HYBRID FIT type hybrid and at a drive out price of 19k I think they can and will compete but how many years more it will take them to develop and competitively price a compact/hatch hybrid is anyones guess.
