Everyone was bashing Microsoft for including a browser in Windows OS. The EU went so far as to compel MS to offer a choice of browsers when Windows is installed or run the first time.
The Chrome OS essentially IS a browser. So how about making Chrome OS being able to run IE as default browser? Just for the sake of making the playing field level? Not that many will choose this option, but it should be there.
Anyway serious IT professionals will keep their Windows PCs because Linux is just a small niche, and Apple is all appearance, no substance. Most likely the defection to Chrome OS will be among Mac users because it's them who usually swallow the bait of new, hot, and cool.

Disclaimer: this message was composed in Firefox 3.6.12 browser running on Windows PC.

Google apps in the cloud and now with the hardware to access them...Spells bad news for MS but Apple will hold its own...Google will never match it in software and hardware. Apple is a moving target and and its best is always still down the road.

A Google computer!?
This will shake the Worlds of Microsoft, Apple, Yahoo, and Cable TV.
Google certainly has the technological edge over competitors when it comes to search engines. But now
With the softphone integration on Gmail, the wireless Android and gaining ground, and the hotspot connectivity, Youtube viewing - this will put Google in the driver's seat, and keep their finger on what the public needs on a private level as well as on a business level.
