Comments on: The myth of the irrational Murdoch Where media and technology meet Wed, 16 Nov 2016 08:48:25 +0000 hourly 1 By: reveldor Sun, 14 Aug 2011 04:11:21 +0000 Don’t kid yourself that Murdoch keeps his newspapers alive because he loves his journalists. That just his line and it’s twaddle. He uses his newspapers as sledge hammers to frighten politicians and to crash his way through to change communication laws which is how he made his fortune. His losses on the papers help him minimise his taxes. His corporation pays lower taxes than any other media business. Last year he wrote back $40 million profit from tax savings in the US alone. Power and money are what he loves, not journalism. That is just a tool for his rackets. I worked for his company and saw his tactics first hand and left because of the corruption, as did many other of his journalists. We did not want to be part of a criminal gang, cheating the public to make money. He is in deep trouble now. You can tell by the long list of lawyers he has hired to try to keep him out of jail. Some of those lawyers get as much as $3000 an hour and all specialise in defending corporate crime.

Although many people have a few of the 14 characteristics, psychopaths have all fourteen. To better understand those who in times past we called “asocial”, we need only read this excellent book which came out of research on the (partially non-functional) brains, the medical and psychological characteristic, and the likes and habits of psychopaths and sociopaths. Some simple examples are that all psychopaths and sociopaths absolutely love to put someone, or some group, into pain and watch the reactions; they do not care whether others like or hate them, but only how they can use and then destroy others, including companies and, obviously in the case of Rupert Murdoch, countries. When they are caught, they are fast to fake repentance, but they feel nothing inside; and their physical brains do not respond to words like “mother”, or seeing a lot of green or orange. Snakes In Suits is a book that has Rupert Murdoch analyzed no matter which way he turns.

Best of all, the last half of Snakes In Suits: When Psychopaths Go To Work is about how they can be spotted in the business community.. and how to stop them before they destroy everything for the pleasure (to them) of the destruction. All bad things must come to an end, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Also interesting is some research on the adverse effect one high functioning megalomaniac can have on a whole group’s productivity when allowed to inspire fear. Apparently, it is possible for an asocial individual to not produce much unless they terrorize others, which causes all the others to produce less. I do not remember the science article I read, but the research was done using chickens. The highest producing chicken in a pen was in many cases intimidating the other egg layers to the point that they did not produce as much until the bully was removed.

Hopefully, this information helps those coming against Rupert Murdoch’s immoral and illegal activities and in positions to see that he loses all his illegally gained wealth.

What the Bible defines as “witchcraft” is “the use of the attempt to use mental or psychological techniques to manipulate the minds of others without their fully informed willful consent, and thus to manipulate their lives and to control their lives.”

By this definition, Rupert Murdoch has been practicing witchcraft, and we do not need that.
