I see this as a new assault on our newsfeeds by advertisers, they want to spam up our feeds with their noisy updates that nobody really wants to see. I found a great solution to the information overload that Facebook is constantly shoving down our throats, its the FB Purity web browser extension. It has a built in feature for filtering out these new "frictionless sharing" "Actions" and also has many other filters for getting rid of all the other annoying Facebook interface elements and TMI (too much information) madness.

If you to get your sanity back on Facebook, i highly recommend it: http://www.fbpurity.com
