As a member of the Class of 1987, thank for that quick technology recap. I think I got my MAC the next year. It had a 5 inch black and white screen. I think you are right that social media does not take the place of a class reunion. I don't think that I would be nearly as interested in going if I didn't see those snippets on FB every day. Plus, it is a lot of fun to dress up and go somewhere elegant like the new <a href="http://www.200peachtree.com/reunions">200 Peachtree</a> venue in Atlanta. Wow!
