When life gives you lemons the size of beach balls…
Here’s a fact: the whole world is intrigued by abnormally large vegetables and fruit. Go to any state fair and you’re sure to find bright blue ribbons pinned on proud farmers holding gourds, watermelons and turnips of creepy proportions.
Which is why it’s worth a look at Cyprus, where they’re growing lemons weighing up to five pounds! Okay, bring me the biggest pie crust you can find, and lots of meringue… Here’s the story:

Hi, I’m impressed with your lemons. Is there a chance to get a few seeds so that I can try them in my own garden here in California? I’ll be glad to pay you for them. Thanks, Marvin
We took the photos and wrote the story, but we don’t have the seeds (US Dept. of Agriculture might not like that
Also, the lemons were on a grafted tree, so it is possible the seeds would not generate the same super-size fruit.
Makes my lips pucker and my jaws go sour just looking at them!!!
i could relly use those for my lemonade stand
