It seems this guy wanted to avoid telling his wife he crashed her new car in the worst way, so he did just that.
According to an AP story, he faked his own kidnapping to avoid having to tell the truth, and now he faces some serious legal problems. At least he may not have to face the little woman for some time. Here’s the story courtesy of wsbtv.com:
