More whine, my dear?

It’s like a glee club, only with very little glee. It seems this Australian choir is turning complaints into song lyrics as part of a new art exhibition, and I hope they call it “These are a Few of my Least Favorite Things.”

Their song includes grumbles about uncomfortable bra straps, loud cell phone conversations, horse poop, weak refrigerator magnets, graffiti, and on and on… For example, Our computer network is always crashing. I’m sick of dealing with a teenager who feels he is the centre of the universe and advocates materialism….

Here’s the story, and feel free to use Post a Comment to suggest additional lyrics. I’ll use as many as I can, as long as you’re not griping about this blog.

My ex-husband won’t move away no matter how much I plead.

I have caught The Godfather 4 times in the past week and never at the very beginning.

I’ll never be offered high-speed internet out here in the boonies.

I think my former house was a meth lab and I may be suffering from exposure to hazardous chemical residue.

In my personal opinion, Stephen King did not do Roland justice at the end of the Dark Tower series.

Yeah, but that stuff doesn’t rhyme, does it?

Silly silly man…real artists don’t need rhymes.

And if that doesn’t work for you, here’s the solution. Insert the word “orange” at the end of every line.

There. Happy?

Don’t ask me what any of that means. I’m sleepy.
