There are places in the world where they still do things the traditional way, instead of giving in to the temptation of fancy new appliances.
Like making fresh juice, for instance. This time-tested method involves two men, heavy bricks, a sledge hammer and a piece of fruit, and boy, the result is a really refreshing glass of juice!
Be warned, though, that while this technique works well with large fruits, it leaves much to be desired as a way of squeezing grape juice, which tends to disappear without a trace.
