Meet Buster, an eight-week-old Bengal Tiger cub who lives at a safari park but goes home with a veterinary nurse every evening, and has access to the house through a pet door. We can only guess what the inside looks like by now. To see Buster make his way through the door, check out this slideshow:
Buster plays with a potted plant at the house of Lucy Pearsall, veterinary nurse of West Midlands Safari Park, in central England August 21, 2007. The cub, rescued by the park’s staff after being left for dead by its mother, is now being hand-reared by Pearsall and goes home with her in the evenings. REUTERS/West Midlands Safari Park/Handout

- Posted by Shawn HendricksHmm. Left for dead by your mother and taken in by a hot nurse or left by your wife for the Raoul the gardener and taken in by your mother. I’m not sure which is more emotionally scarring.
- Posted by Shawn Hendricks“Hand reared?” There’s gonna be a lot of folks running around with arm stumps. Why not feed him hamburger?
- Posted by Shawn HendricksI’m pretty sure I’d leave up the “This house protected by a live Bengal tiger” sign even after it got too large to take home.
