When gravity becomes the bad news…

September 25, 2007

waitress-140.jpgSometimes you see something and you just know it’s not a good idea, and you wonder why it wasn’t obvious to everybody else.

We have this big slideshow from the famous Oktoberfest, the self-described world’s biggest beer festival. About half the photos show folks grabbing huge honking pitchers of beer, while the other half show people climbing onto roller coasters, ferris wheels and other stomach-churning rides, high up over the crowds.

Can anybody figure out what might go wrong here, and why being on the evening cleanup crew is probably a bad career choice?

I hate waking up at 2:00 am only to discover that the fairgrounds are closing and I owe the ride operator eleven hundred Euros.

Okay, guys. Let’s create a new beerfest somewhere equatorial so the serving ladies wear something quite bit more revealing than a dirndl dress.

It only goes wrong for tourists……
Bavarians are used to ride the roller coaster even with a beer in their hands without troubles. You have to practice more ;-)),
