The German folks in this video are looking for love, and they’re on the right track. They are on a special train full of singles, making small-talk, filling out report cards on each other, and hopping from seat to seat - the natural way to find a soulmate.
But here’s where it gets interesting. German train engineers began a strike today, extending a period of serious rail disruptions across the country. So, if these people aren’t careful, their quickie test dates could turn to days of going nowhere, grasping desperately for something, anything, to pass the cruel, endless hours. Yes, now that you mention it, kind of like some marriages.
“So, you come here often? Hey! Why are we stopping? That’s the only line I have!” Joanna Partridge reports

“Pardon me, ma’am, is this the German dating choo-choo?”
“Track 29, and don’t you give me a line.”
- Posted by CharleneI think merry-go-rounds would be a much more efficient way of speed dating. You get stuck with a guy that you don’t like, you just push him off and the next one jumps on.
I thought a ferris wheel would work too, but pushing someone out of one of those things could severely limit your dating prospects.
