Hey, what’s that squeaky noise?
It’s fall, and in some places that means helium gas storms, which lift unsuspecting people and float them for miles. The women seen here are prepared, balancing books on their heads as ballast. In case they do drift off, they always carry pre-written notes between their knees, to drop to earth and alert rescuers.
Local residents say it is common to hear large numbers of people floating by in a fog, all talking in helium-induced, shrill Minnie Mouse voices.

The new android models are especially realistic this year, and come with plenty of documentation. On top of their heads, you will find the instruction manuals, and between their knees, the registration form.
