There are few pleasures in life nicer than savoring a great view. Mountains, ocean, river, sweeping city skyline, whatever. That’s why I can sympathize with this dude who really wanted a better view from his retirement cottage, so he made one. With a chainsaw.
It seems his place was about 50 yards from the sea, and there were 122 pesky trees in the way until he wandered into the forest with his saw. “He told us he wanted to enjoy an unobstructed view of the Baltic,” a police spokesman explained.
I guess we’ll just never know how the cops figured out who did it. Here’s the story.

- Posted by CharleneI should take a chainsaw to Galveston with me next summer. Four stilts per house wouldn’t be too difficult to cut down for a great view of the beach.

- Posted by John C AbellSo.. let me get this straight.. he wanted to see the Baltic Sea. So, instead of getting up off his butt and walking to the Baltic, he chopped down a bunch of trees? Moron.
