As these photos show, architects and urban planners seem to be using headwear as a way to make their designs accessible to the public. You get the whole three-dimensional impact thing, plus a smiling, perky model.
You can see where this is going, of course. Today architects, tomorrow, regular consumers. People who are proud of their new home or car or frozen drink maker or whatever will now be able to show off those things in a fashionable, 21st century display of one-upmanship.
And the best part? if you’re using this state-of-the-art method to flaunt your new possessions, you can leave an impressive price tag hanging from the brim, just like Minnie Pearl used to do!

Funny how a bikini always makes a hat look great.
- Posted by John C AbellI wonder if that first hat comes with its very own Spiderman, since it apparently already comes with its very own Mary-Kate.
And that second hat? What is that supposed to represent? The Marie Antoinette Dutch Ziti Festival?
- Posted by CharleneJohn,
- Posted by Shawn HendricksIt never works for me. Of course, I am a fourty-five year old, fat, graying male.
I’ve been looking at the model in the bottom picture. Does a white ribbon mean third place or also ran?
- Posted by Shawn HendricksDon’t wear a bikini to paint tiny hat houses unless you’re comfortable with the splatter design. Thanks, model number 1.
